The youngest of seven children, Anna (Oliveira) Koot was born and raised in S.W. Ontario in a busy Portuguese family. She now lives outside of St Marys with her husband and four kids. She is a decorative artist and teacher, and has illustrated a children's book, Henry and Harriet.
